The Australian Muslim community is still feeling the effects of the September 11 terrorist attacks. America has tried hard to dispel the notion that it`s now involved in a war against Islam. Nonetheless, Muslim communities around the world have had to endure many acts of violent retribution in the weeks since the World Trade Center towers collapsed.
