of women's rights is encouraged.
This conference aims to produce solid
outcomes and implementation & monitoring strategies which feed into
a national, subregional and regional strategy and ultimately will lead
to the next UN review in NY in 2005. An important conference planning meeting
will be held in Sydney at the Department for Women within the next few
weeks. The organisers are keen to have the input of as many women's groups
as possible at this meeting.
