September 15, four billion [ed:
4,000,000,000!] people
around the world will be focussed on the opening Ceremony of the Olympic
Games here in Sydney, climaxed when the
fire ignites in the cauldron!
And now it
comes into focus, four billion thinking as one - focussed minds - something
positive like peace - after all there is the prophesy of a thousands years
of peace... and maybe we have to ask for it.
A wonderful
story I heard was that Sir Winston Churchill organised the people of England
to all focus on peace at 9.00 o'clock every evening. When Hitler heard
this he resigned to failure. I liked that story.
On the other
hand, if four billion people focussed on peace, that's a formidable force

about to be swarmed on!
